Put the wand down. This is an intervention.
Somewhere between Hollywood witchcraft, Pinterest correspondences, TikTok rituals, and "just set your intention," people stopped learning how spiritual work actually works.
Light the candle. Add the herbs. Say the words. Wait.
And when nothing happens? Add another candle. Another herb. Another spirit. Another ritual. Another video.
At some point you have to ask: do you actually know what you're doing — or do you just know what it's supposed to look like?
Because spellwork is not the candle. It isn't the jar. It isn't rhyming a petition off somebody's Pinterest board. Owning spiritual tools does not make you a spiritual worker, any more than owning a scalpel makes you a surgeon. The work is the work — and you skipped it.
Anatomy of a Spell is 2.5 hours, taught live, taking spellwork apart piece by piece: what you're doing, why you're doing it, what every component is for, and exactly where it breaks when it fails. From imitation to understanding. From "what herb should I use?" to knowing why you're reaching for an herb at all.
MOVEMENT I — THE TEARDOWN. Kill the Hollywood version.
1. What Spellwork Is — and What It Ain't. The foundation, before you touch another tool.
2. You're Not That Supernatural, and That's OK. Ability, learned skill, discipline, and fantasy — separated. You don't have to be special. You have to be serious.
3. Know Your Lane. Witch. Conjurer. Rootworker. Priest. These are not interchangeable costumes. Roles, traditions, authority, training — and why the words matter.
MOVEMENT II — THE FOUNDATION. Understand what you're working with.
4. How Our Ancestors Approached the Work. Before spellwork was content and aesthetics, it was survival — real communities, real stakes, real need.
5. What Nobody Told You About Spellwork. Relationship. Responsibility. Reciprocity. Spirits are sovereign — not ingredients, and not a celestial butler.
6. Universal Law in Your Work. The most powerful forces in your practice are operating before you ever strike a match. This is where you learn: the candle was never the spell.
MOVEMENT III — THE MECHANICS. Now we open the body.
7. The Anatomy of a Spell. The heart of the course. A working dissected end to end: Intent → Petition → Spiritual Authority → Materia → Action → Direction → Sealing → Silence → Completion & Disposal. What belongs, what doesn't, what each part is doing — and what happens when one part contradicts another.
8. KISS the Spell. Keep. It. Simple. Nine herbs, four oils, three deities, two psalms, graveyard dirt, and glitter is not power — it's panic. Strip the working until every component can state its business.
9. Stop Asking About Timing. "When will it happen?" "What if my candle finished early?" That's not up to you — you, who couldn't conjure your way out of a paper bag. The difference between performing the work and believing you command everything that follows it.
MOVEMENT IV — THE DIAGNOSIS. Why isn't this working?
10. Why You Keep Getting in Your Own Way. Checking. Fear. Desperation. Rewriting the petition mid-burn. Five workings for one problem. Working against your own stated word. Sometimes the block isn't spiritual. Sometimes it's you.
11. Why Your Spells Don't Work. The capstone. Every failure diagnosed against everything you just learned: unclear petition, broken construction, wrong materia, competing intentions, no relationship, no mundane action backing the spiritual one, asking the work for what it could never deliver — or a working built correctly whose answer was simply NO. Diagnosing your own failures is the skill that makes a worker.
THEN THE FLOOR OPENS — LIVE Q&A. Bring the spell that flopped. Bring the candle that did something weird. Bring the freezer jar you've been avoiding eye contact with for six months. Bring the question you're too embarrassed to ask because everyone online seems to know what they're doing. They don't. Ask the damn question.
By the end, you'll look at any spell and see its bones — what makes it a coherent operation instead of a pile of ingredients — and you'll build your own with reason, structure, and discipline. This is not a recipe class. I'm not handing you 25 workings to copy. I'm teaching you how to think like a worker — because once you understand the anatomy, you stop needing a stranger on TikTok to tell you what goes in the jar.
This class is for you if you're done playing witch and ready to become a worker.
It is not for you if you want to be told you're a natural-born mystic with a marketplace destiny. That class is somebody else's hustle.
