This rite asks a very different question:

Over two days, we work both sides of that question.
NIGHT ONE — CLEAR THE RECEIVING CHANNEL
September 10 · New Moon
Before we ask for increase, we clear.
The first night addresses what has accumulated around your ability to receive: obstruction, stagnation, disappointment, scarcity patterns, failed opportunities, and the residue of doors that repeatedly seemed to close just as something was about to come through.
We clear the channel before asking it to carry more.
Because the prayer isn't simply:
“Give me money.”
It is:
REMOVE WHAT HAS BEEN STANDING BETWEEN ME AND WHAT CAN REACH ME.
DAY TWO — CLAIM THE PORTION
September 11 · Venus's Day
Once the channel has been cleared, we turn toward receiving.
Favor.
Provision.
Opportunity.
Financial increase.
Helpful connections.
Patronage.
Support.
Clients.
Introductions.
Open doors.
The people and circumstances capable of carrying opportunity into your life.
This is the day we stop speaking only about what needs to leave and begin naming WHAT WE ARE READY TO RECEIVE.
The September Working Calendar deliberately sets the work in this order: September 10 clears the receiving channel at the New Moon, and September 11 turns toward petition and favor on Venus's day.
